Does Exchange Rate Volatility Increase the Consumer Price Index? Evidence from Bangladesh

The current study aimed to analyze the impact of exchange rate volatility (EXV) on consumer price index (CPI) with considering export and import. To estimate targeted results, monthly basis data from 2013M01 2019M06 has been used. International financial statistics (IFS) world development indicators are key sources this study. estimated results dynamic regression quantile analysis show that a significant raise in Bangladesh. Import volume import tax also liable level due lack domestic production. Results demonstrated one-period lag dependent variable LNCPI(-1) positive period CPI where rising level. Moreover, contributes field international trade economics through suggestions policy coordination.
